Graceful Aging Yoga

We are pleased to introduce this yoga series designed to specifically deliver the anti-aging benefits of yoga. Discover how to use yoga as a preventative practice. You will learn "Eight Essential Yoga Poses" and other "Yoga Techniques" that you can incorporate into your daily life to help you to age gracefully and live well.
Classes are held on Thursdays from 2:15 PM to 3:30PM.

Mindfulness Meditation

Mindfulness meditation is about the power and practice of non-judgmental attention. Mindfulness is about waking up again and again from automatic pilot to the immediate experience of the present moment. This class includes teaching, practice and discussion.

Heart Meditation

Carol McGilliard of Harbor Wellbeing, invites you to join her in "HEART MEDITATION" on Friday, February 4th, from 12:00 noon to 12:45 PM. We will meditate in the Mind and Body Room, in Suite 102.
This will be a weekly opportunity to join together with people all over the world in unity to surround the earth wilh love, compassion, and tolerance. It is time to become part of the healing for yourself and our world.

Taiji Temple Exercises
You will learn tools for balance (NO LEANING) which must extend out into the rest of what you do allowing you to relax by balancing every move. Whether it is Taiji (Balance), Quan (Boxing), gardening or holding a cup: these are the principles of hard work and proper body mechanics. “Self massage through motion”. Save yourself from pain by learning to not traumatize your joints, tendons and grow springy bones. This is the essence of all the higher levels of listening, sticking, following and issuing.

Yoga with Hal Meng
If you can breathe you can do yoga.
Based on the yoga tradition of proper adaptation, this class is appropriate for beginners and those who have been afraid to try yoga. But adaptation can also challenge the experienced student. With gentle stretching and rhythmic movement with awareness of the breath, yoga provides a path to health and well being for everyone.
Class is on-going Mondays 9:30 – 10:45 AM except on Holidays.

Kundalini Yoga & Meditation

Breathe, stretch, strengthen, meditate and relax...Ahhhh! Delight in the sacred play of Kundalini Yoga & Meditation classes! The 9-week RELAX & RENEW beginner's series (January 25th to March 28th) will rejuvenate and replenish body, mind, heart and soul while you learn the foundations of physical poses, pranayam (breath techniques) and meditation. With Diane / Shamsher's 36 years yoga experience, you are supported according to your body's history and wisdom.

Kids Yoga
Join Sylwia and the bendy, adventurous puppets for a one hour class. Fun games, poses, and lots of activities such as balancing, concentrating, body awareness, coordination, focus, relaxing, meditation and breathing. All the good things to help your child enjoy exercise, perform well in school, effectively handle stress, and sleep better!

Vinyasa Basics
Learn the fundamentals of movement-based classes in a safe and supportive environment that emphasizes good alignment. Vinyasa basics will teach you basic hatha yoga poses while learning breathing techniques to use during movement and meditation. This class is open to beginners with no previous yoga experience and returning students. This is a great option for those of you interested in starting an exercise program to assist in improving health and weight loss.

Vinyasa Yoga Class
This class is richly infused with classical yoga sequences in a slightly faster pace than Vinyasa Basics. This class teaches poses to increase flexibility, strength and balance while teaching detailed alignment, breathing and meditation to calm the mind and awaken the body. Open to individuals with some previous yoga experience or returning students.

Vinyasa Flex & Flow
This class includes repetitive flows and long holds to work our muscles in a variety of ways. Performing closed chain exercises with weight bearing extremities. This class provides a comprehensive, time efficient and functional way to strengthen all the muscles in our body, using our own body weight as resistance. Open to individuals with previous yoga experience.
Classes begin November 1st. Fee for the 6 week session is $70.

Beginning Kundalini Yoga & Meditation
Mahan Prem will be offering two Kundalini Yoga classes.
KUNDALINI YOGA & SOUND will emphasize the sounds in this Kundalini yoga class which will incorporate singing bowls, cymbals, drums, mantra (aloud as well as silent) and always end with an extended gong/relaxation. Classes are as follows:
Starting Monday's January 2, 1012 at 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm, Starting Tuesday's January 3rd from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm, and Starting Thursday's January 5th from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm.
