Dr. Anna Colombini

Dr. Anna ColumbiniND

Pacific Northwest native, Dr. Colombini grew up in the foothills of Mount Rainier. Surrounded by nature, she took notice and was inspired at a very early age by the power of nature to heal. Her parents encouraged and cultivated a sense and appreciation for stewardship and compassion for people from all walks of life. It was distinctly at Kindergarten graduation that Dr. Colombini declared her desire to become a person of the healing arts. She announced to the audience and her peers that she wanted to be a nurse just like her mother. Much later in her career as a student she realized that in addition to taking care of others, she wanted to also be able to recommend holistic therapies that included counseling, nutrition, botanical medicine, therapeutic exercise and homeopathy. See her website for great health and wellness related information.

Dr. Colombini graduated from the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. This gave her the platform to apply and be accepted in the fall of 2000 to Bastyr University in Kenmore, Washington. She graduated in 2005 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine. She completed a residency at Peninsula Naturopathic Clinic in Gig Harbor, Washington and continues to practice primary care naturopathic medicine at this location. Her focus includes women's health and allergies though she works successfully with children, men and the elderly population.

Dr. Colombini believes in the power of empowerment.   She teaches her patients about their bodies, removes the word guilt and replaces it with education and self-empowerment, and then develops a treatment plan specific to the patient's needs and goals.
